Bitcoin ATM Taguig and how to buy crypto in BGC

There is no verified Bitcoin ATM in Taguig. If you want to buy crypto in BGC with cash, go to a staffed Moneybees counter: Willyn Villarica Jewelry on the third floor of Market! Market!, Monteal Money Changer in Venice Grand Canal Mall on McKinley Hill, or St. Eloi Pawnshop in Tanyag. Bring a government ID and your wallet address. Everything else happens in an app.

That answer frustrates people, because Taguig looks like it should have more. It is the address of the country’s biggest crypto app, of the licensed firm that runs most of the walk-in counters, and of a large share of the remote workers, expats and fintech staff who hold crypto. The companies are here. The public counters are not, mostly. This page sorts one from the other.

Why BGC became the crypto office district

Bonifacio Global City grew into the place where regional finance and tech firms set up their Manila offices, and crypto followed. Two of the licensed virtual asset service providers on the BSP’s VASP list (dated 15 July 2026) register their head offices in Taguig. Betur Inc., the company behind Coins.ph, is at the 15th floor of Asian Century Center on 27th Street, corner 3rd and 4th Avenue. Moneybees Forex Corp. is on the fourth floor of Commerce and Industry Plaza, 1030 Campus Avenue, McKinley Hill.

That matters for you in a practical way. Both are regulated by the Bangko Sentral, both have Filipino staff a few kilometres from your condo, and both answer to a regulator you can complain to. It does not mean you can walk in and trade, which is the most common misunderstanding we see in searches like “Coins.ph office BGC”.

Bitcoin ATM Taguig: what the old listings really were

If you have seen a “Bitcoin ATM in Taguig” on a map, here is where it probably came from. Archived copies of Coin ATM Radar’s Philippines page show one Taguig listing in May 2020 and two in November 2021. That directory mixes vending machines with “Bitcoin tellers”, meaning staffed counters, and the Taguig entry we could identify, Monteal Money Changer at Venice Grand Canal, is a teller. It is the same Moneybees counter that still appears on the operator’s own list today.

We could not check Coin ATM Radar’s current map because it blocked automated access during our research, and we found no news of any crypto ATM opening in Taguig. The country’s few real machines were in Makati and possibly Ortigas, and none has been confirmed working in recent years. Under current rules, any new machine would need to be run by a licensed VASP, and the BSP has frozen new licences indefinitely. Buy crypto in BGC and Taguig: every point we could verify

The table separates what you can do from what is merely an address. Counter hours come from the Moneybees outlets page; office addresses come from the BSP list.

None of the three counters opens on Sunday, and the Market! Market! stall closes at 5:30 pm, so a Saturday visit is the realistic plan for most office workers. Venice Grand Canal stays open latest, until 7 pm. If you live in Taguig’s older barangays, the St. Eloi branch in Tanyag keeps pawnshop hours from 8 am to 5 pm.

The Coins.ph office in BGC: what a visit can and can’t do

People search for the Coins.ph office in BGC for three reasons: a frozen account, a failed cash-out, or a large trade. For the first two, the office is not your fastest route. Coins.ph’s help centre sends customers to in-app chat, a contact form and phone lines, and we found no mention of walk-in support at Asian Century Center. Don’t count on being received without an appointment. Start a ticket in the app, keep the reference number, and escalate through the official channels.

If your account is limited, the fix is usually verification, not a visit. A Basic account can deposit ₱10,000 a day but cannot cash out or move crypto at all; Identity Verified lifts both to ₱1 million a day, and Enhanced to ₱10 million, according to Coins.ph’s verification and limits page. For large amounts, Coins.ph runs Coins TradeDesk, its OTC service for high-net-worth clients and corporates at the top verification level. The minimum is ₱1 million. Settlement can be in pesos or USD, EUR, GBP, HKD, JPY, SGD or AUD, through BDO, UnionBank, Sterling or Security Bank, or wallet to wallet. The desk is reached by Telegram and email rather than at a reception counter. How to visit a Moneybees counter in Taguig

A counter visit is quick if you arrive prepared. Moneybees, the licensed VASP behind all three Taguig counters, says it charges “no additional fees”: the rate you are quoted is the price, and its margin sits inside it. Here is the routine that avoids surprises.

1. Get your receive address ready

   Moneybees sends crypto straight to a wallet you choose. Open Coins.ph, Maya, GCrypto or your own wallet, copy the receive address for the right coin and network, and have the QR code on screen.

2. Bring the right documents for your amount

   One valid government ID and a KYC form cover up to ₱200,000 a day. Add proof of address for up to ₱1 million and proof of income for up to ₱5 million. Foreigners should bring a passport.

3. Check the quote against the live price

   Before you hand over cash, compare the counter rate with the buy price in your app. The difference is what you are really paying.

4. Pay and wait for the transfer

   Hand over the pesos and watch the transaction arrive in your wallet before you leave the counter. Keep the receipt.

5. Selling works in reverse

   Send crypto to the Moneybees wallet address the teller gives you and receive pesos in cash on the spot or by bank transfer.

For expats and remote workers in BGC

BGC’s condo towers are full of people who earn in dollars: remote developers, designers, BPO team leads and foreign staff on regional contracts. Many are paid in USDT or USDC, and their question is not how to buy Bitcoin but how to turn stablecoins into rent money without losing a chunk to spreads on the way.

The cheapest licensed route we know is simple. If you are a foreigner, expect more questions. Counters will want your passport, and apps may ask for proof of address in the Philippines. Keep a lease or a utility bill in your name handy. Which crypto exchange should BGC residents use?

Location barely matters for an app, but trust does. Coins.ph, based in BGC, has around 150 tokens, the deepest peso order book and help pages updated through 2026.
