This policy explains what information is processed when you visit crypto-philippines.com, operated by the Crypto Philippines Editorial Team. It applies to both the English and Filipino versions of the site. It is effective from 28 September 2026.
What we collect
Crypto Philippines is a static information website. There are no user accounts, no sign-up or login, no comment sections and no forms. We do not ask for your name, phone number, ID, wallet address or any financial information, and we never will. We do not sell, rent or share personal data, because we do not collect it.
Cookies and analytics
We do not set any cookies. We currently do not use analytics, advertising trackers, tracking pixels or third-party embeds, and fonts are served from our own domain. If we ever add analytics or any other tool that processes visitor data, we will update this page first and describe what the tool collects and why.
Server logs
Like every website, our pages are delivered by a hosting provider. When your browser requests a page, the provider’s servers may automatically record standard technical information such as your IP address, the page requested, the date and time, and your browser type. These logs are kept by the hosting provider for security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting, under its own policies. We do not use them to identify or profile individual visitors.
If you email us
If you write to contact@crypto-philippines.com, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use it only to reply and, for corrections, to check and fix the page. We do not add you to a mailing list. You can ask us to delete your correspondence at any time. Please never send us passwords, seed phrases, OTPs or copies of your ID; we do not need them.
Third-party links
Our guides link to regulators, exchanges, e-wallets and other websites. When you click an external link you leave our site, and the other website’s privacy policy and cookies apply. This includes partner links, which may use the other site’s own tracking to attribute sign-ups. We do not control and are not responsible for how those sites handle your data, so please read their policies before sharing information with them.
Your rights under Philippine law
We respect the rights of data subjects under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), including the right to be informed, to access, to correct and to request deletion of personal data. Given how little data we process, most requests will concern email correspondence. Write to us and we will respond. If you believe your data privacy rights have been violated, you may also contact the National Privacy Commission.
Children
This site is intended for adults, and we do not knowingly process data from children.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page whenever our practices change, for example if we add analytics, and change the effective date above. Material changes will be described in plain words at the top of the page.
